The former deputy secretary of the Security Council of Ukraine, ex-deputy commander of the Special Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, General Sergei Krivonos, stated this on TV channel 24, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
According to Krivonos, Russia can strengthen the grouping of troops in those areas where Ukraine is planning a counteroffensive.
“As for the counter-offensive, not all conditions for the start of the counter-offensive have yet been met. We are ready, we are waiting, but so is the enemy - we don’t need to think that the enemy has already stopped, is exhausted. The enemy can regroup in this direction, directly where we are planning a counter-offensive, and can transfer some of the forces and means to confront us in these areas of our counter-offensive,” the general said
