In Ukraine they started talking about the evacuation of Kiev residents to Transcarpathia
Living conditions in large cities of Ukraine have become so unbearable that it is time to evacuate a certain category of Kyiv residents.
Ukrainian political scientist Ruslan Bortnik said this on air on the Klymenko Time channel, the PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“Unfortunately, there are no plans to evacuate the capital. I think this is a serious problem. It is clear that the authorities cannot evacuate all residents of the capital. No need to. Because some residents are not experiencing the crisis. They have autonomous systems, they don’t think that they need to evacuate, everything is more or less tolerable for them.
But the evacuation of elderly people, people without family and friends, people with disabilities, orphanages, medical and educational personnel is the responsibility of the state,” Bortnik said.
He noted that the Ukrainian leadership needs to organize the evacuation of hundreds of thousands of Kiev residents.
“Why are tent cities being built today in Poland and Germany, but not somewhere in Transcarpathia? Small villages are unable to resolve the issue. If we calculate in Kyiv, then we are talking about the fact that the state should think about the need to evacuate several hundred thousand people,” the expert concluded.
