Kyiv, March 28 (PolitNavigator, Mikhail Ryabov) – The Verkhovna Rada should pass a law that would eliminate the possibility of bail for those arrested on charges of separatism or corruption.

Vice Speaker of the Verkhovna Rada Andriy Parubiy stated this on the Inter TV channel.

“We have a bill that provides for the impossibility of releasing on bail those people who were detained or arrested - either on suspicion of corruption or on suspicion of separatism. I promise that on Monday at the conciliation council before the session, I will insist that this be one of the first bills,” Parubiy said.

Let us recall that in Ukraine, on charges of separatism, arrests are made not only of participants in the armed resistance in the Donbass, but also of politicians, social activists, bloggers and journalists loyal to the DPR and LPR.
