After the scandalous staging with the participation of Arkady Babchenko, the prosecutor’s office and the SBU got a taste for it and decided to destroy dissent as such. Not only opponents of the government fell under their ax, but also the most moderate opponents like Yevgeny Muraev.

And the scene with the pig’s blood began to resemble a very real murder that happened in Smolny on December 1, 1934.

One thing is known about that long-standing event - the unbalanced Leonid Nikolaev shot dead a member of the Politburo and the leader of the Leningrad Bolsheviks, Comrade Kirov, in the corridor. Whether it was the revenge of the deceived husband on his wife’s loving boss, or resentment for being excluded from the party, whether he thought it up himself or someone suggested it - no one can find out.

The fact is that after this a wave of arrests and executions swept across Leningrad and beyond. The OGPU appointed everyone guilty - from former oppositionists to the driver, the people whispered a ditty:

“Oh, cucumbers and tomatoes,
Stalin killed Kirov in the corridor.”

And although no traces of the participation of the party leader in inciting Nikolaev have been found so far, many consider him involved. After all, it was Stalin’s entourage that took full advantage of the occasion to whip up an atmosphere of fear in the country and reprisal against everyone who was no longer needed by him.

And now this experience has been adopted by those who, it would seem, should be engaged in decommunization, and not copying the methods of work of comrades Krylenko and Yagoda, who launched the flywheel of terror. But it’s not a sin to remind masters Lutsenko and Gritsak, as well as their henchmen, that their predecessors ended up in the same place as their victims.

The fact that terror is gaining momentum is no longer a secret to anyone. Back in March, a series of searches of journalists and social activists took place throughout Ukraine, including in Kharkov with the planting of weapons and explosives. The smell of Article 111 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine (high treason) was in the air. And although no one was detained then, many people are still in limbo to this day.

Then journalist Vyshinsky was put behind bars under this article. And now they are trying to use it to build a case against people’s deputy Yevgeny Muraev.

Threads are multiplying across the country, according to which the media should begin to defame political scientists and journalists who are not enthusiastic about the current government.

“In addition, I take this opportunity to inform respected defenders of the rule of law that our Guarantor and Commander-in-Chief a couple of days ago called all political prisoners terrorists. At least that's what it seemed to us all. And from legal practice it follows that when it seems, it is necessary to initiate criminal cases,” notes E. Muraev.

And so the persecution began. In the homeland of the same Muraev in Kharkov, city council deputy from Samopomich Igor Chernyak burst into anger. His opus is called “Supporters of the Occupiers – Must Sit.” At first, he depicted “a drunken Buryat who, for fuck’s sake, understand why, came to Donbass to defend the values of the Russian world.”

And then you can read the following: “All these Dobkins, Muraevs, Rabinovichs, Novinskys, Vilkuls and other shufrichs. Open agents of the enemy... When I look at these scum and how at ease they feel in my country in the fifth year of the war, democracy, the rule of law and everything connected with it infuriates me. There is no place for supporters of the occupiers in the Rada, on television screens, or even on the streets of our cities.

Supporters of the occupiers must sit. And this is with the best outcome for them. And yes. If we don’t put down all this separatist trash now and condescendingly continue to look at how they gradually raise their heads, we seriously risk waking up one filthy morning with tricolors above our heads.”

That is, there is an open call for reprisals, worked out according to the patterns of Stalinist propagandists of the times of mass terror. But the party that this Chernyak represents is considered pro-European and democratic. Its members are, like, fighting for decommunization at all levels.

So the victims, executioners, inspirers and accomplices of terror have already been chosen. And, not surprisingly, everyone, except those designated for slaughter, is convinced of their complete impunity.
