In Ukraine, the depiction of a plow as a communist symbol is prohibited
Having declared war on communist Soviet symbols, deputies of the Ukrainian parliament legally banned not only the hammer and sickle, but even the plow.
The PolitNavigator correspondent reports that during a press conference in Kiev “May 9 without symbols of Victory: The Rada took away the right to memory from veterans,” people’s deputy of previous convocations, ex-chairman of the parliamentary committee on national security and defense Georgiy spoke about this Kryuchkov, who pointed out that in the adopted law on decommunization, not only symbols of the USSR and union republics, as well as their anthems and fragments, are prohibited.

“But also paraphernalia in which - just listen! – the connection and combination of a sickle and a hammer, a separate sickle or hammer, a five-pointed star, a plow - a rala are recreated! – the politician quoted the scandalous law. - That is, some rural party can depict a plow - and it already reproduces communist symbols. Dear comrades, what kind of people do you have to be to humiliate and insult those on whom this state rests in such a way.”
