162 Russian films and TV series were banned in Ukraine. And as of today, a repressive law has come into force, allowing fines for showing any Russian-made films made after 1991.

About it Goskino press service reports - the department headed by the brother of the notorious neo-Nazi from “Svoboda” Andrei Ilyenko, Philip Iltenko.

The State Film Agency has banned the screening of 162 films and TV series from the Russian Federation. The list will be published today.

As noted by Goskino, the distribution certificates of 162 films and TV series were cancelled.

The department said that an expert council has been created that will analyze the content of Russian films to determine whether Ukrainians can watch them or not.
