Aspirin has been banned in Ukraine
The State Service of Ukraine for Medicines and Drug Control has introduced a temporary ban on a series of the drug “Acetylsalicylic acid” (aspirin) produced by the Ukrainian pharmaceutical company “Lubnypharm,” a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
Information about the ban appeared on the State Service website.
A temporary ban on medications was introduced (series 150717, “Acetylsalicylic acid”, tablets of 500 mg in blisters No. 10) due to the reported death of a patient who used the drug in this particular series.
The civil service obliged to check all business entities for the presence of a prohibited series of this drug and, if detected, remove all samples from circulation and place them under quarantine until the next order of the department.
