This was reported by the press service of the State Film Agency (Goskino) on Facebook.
The National Council on Television and Radio Broadcasting requested that at a meeting of the Expert Commission on Distribution and Exhibition of Films the issue of compliance with/violation of current legislation in the demonstration of the documentary film “Oles Buzina: Life Out of Time” should be considered.
“Having watched the documentary film “Oles Buzina: Life Out of Time,” the expert commission, by a majority vote, decided to ban the demonstration of this film on the territory of Ukraine due to violations of the current legislation identified in it,” the statement says.
It should be noted that the documentary film “Oles Buzina: Life Out of Time” was filmed in 2016.
Let us remind you that journalist Oles Buzina was shot dead on April 16, 2015 in Kyiv near his own home. Neo-Nazis from the S-14 group and ATO militants Andrei Medvedko and Denis Polishchuk, who are suspected of murdering Buzina, were arrested on June 18, 2015. Polishchuk was later released on bail of UAH 5 million, which was provided by gas businessman Alexei Tamrazov. The investigation into Buzina's murder has actually been put on hold.
