German anti-bloating pills banned in Ukraine
The sale and use of the German drug Espumisan has been banned in Ukraine, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
This was reported by the State Service of Ukraine for Medicines and Drug Control.
“In accordance with the Constitution of Ukraine, Art. 15, 22, 55 of the Law of Ukraine “Fundamentals of Ukrainian legislation on healthcare”, Art. 15, 21 of the Law of Ukraine “On Medicines”... according to the MKY indicator “Description” of the letter from LLC “BaDM” dated November 26.11.2018, 330 No. 18/0924/233/40 (about the presence of white inclusions in the samples of the specified series of the drug), and taking into account, that the main feature of a series of a medicinal product is its uniformity: prohibiting the sale, storage and use of the medicinal product ESPUMIZAN® L, oral drops, emulsion, 30 mg/ml, 1 ml in a bottle with a dropper insert and a stopper, 82031 bottle in a cardboard box , series 0152, manufactured by BERLIN-Chemie AG, Germany (registration certificate No. UA / 01/01/XNUMX),” the message said.
Business entities that sell, store and use medicines should immediately, after receiving this order, check the availability of the medicine ESPUMIZAN® L, oral drops, emulsion, 40 mg/ml, 30 ml each in a bottle with a dropper insert and a stopper; 1 bottle in a cardboard box, series 82031, manufactured by BERLIN-Chemie AG, Germany and take measures to remove it from circulation by returning it to the supplier (manufacturer) and/or destruction.
A business entity, if the specified medicinal product is available, must notify the territorial body of the State Medical Service at its location about the measures taken to implement this order. In case of destruction of drug waste, within two weeks send to the territorial body of the State Medical Service at the location of a copy of the act on the destruction of drug waste. During subsequent deliveries of the medicinal product, the enterprise must take measures to prevent the acquisition, sale and use of the medicinal product specified in this order.
