A clone of PolitNavigator was launched in Ukraine
Visitors to the official page of ex-President of Georgia Mikheil Saakashvili were surprised today by the appearance of links to the Politnavigator website.
It would seem that by publishing links to a resource recommended for ban by the Ministry of Information, Saakashvili himself is giving trump cards to his opponents from Petro Poroshenko’s camp, who accuse the fugitive Georgian politician of “rocking the boat” to please the Kremlin.
However, as it turned out, Saakashvili referred to a new Ukrainian-language site, but with the same name.

“Now we know that in Kyiv they are not only stealing gas,” Sergei Stepanov, editor-in-chief of PolitNavigator, comments on the situation.
The creation of clone websites has long been a well-known technology in Ukraine, says political scientist Denis Denisov.
“It is very noteworthy that PolitNavigator was chosen, which is distinguished by its completely consistent position - both regarding the conflict in Donbass and criticism of the existing Kyiv regime.
Apparently, some people in Ukraine are haunted by the high ratings and readability of your resource. The authors of the clone probably expect to get some of the readers of PN. But people are much wiser than the leaders of Ukraine think. Such a project cannot have any prospects.
But this case once again emphasizes the role that PolitNavigator plays in the information confrontation with the Kyiv regime,” the expert said.
