The procedure for launching the boat took place during the visit of the head of the National Police of Ukraine, Khatia Dekanoidze, to the Vyshgorod training center.

The patrol police response team on the water began its work from that day on.

Now, a mobile water patrol unit will operate on the territory of the Kyiv Reservoir and adjacent rivers of the capital region. The police will carry out crime prevention measures around the clock, said Dmitry Tsenov, acting chairman of the Main Directorate of the National Police of the region.

In April 2016, the river patrol police began service in the Cherkasy region.
