Gasoline prices are rapidly rising at Ukrainian gas stations
Kyiv, February 06 (PolitNavigator, Alexander Semenyuta) – Following the dollar exchange rate, another round of rising prices for petroleum products began in Ukraine. On February 6, prices at gas station networks LUKOIL, BRSM-Nafta, Ukr-Petrol and UPG increased prices for all types of fuel by 0,36-1,10 UAH/l. About it сообщает oilnews.

Among regional networks, the increase in price affected the capital network of gas stations KLO, Nikolaev "Quorum", Odessa "Katral", Rivne "Olas", interregional network "Narodnaya", Sumy "Glukhovnefteprodukt", Dnipropetrovsk "Neftek" and Volyn Avetra.
Wholesale prices have risen sharply since the beginning of the week due to rising European oil prices and another decline in the market exchange rate of the hryvnia. On February 5, after the cancellation of the NBU indicative rate, the real exchange rate reached 25 UAH/$1 and prices in large wholesale rose by more than 1 UAH/t.
One of the most important factors that offset the decline in prices for petroleum products on foreign markets at the beginning of the year was the introduction of a five percent tax on excisable goods.
