“The Americans will win the Ukrainian elections in any case” - Volga
Thanks to the influence of propaganda on public opinion in Ukraine, the overwhelming majority allegedly supports Russophobic rhetoric, which completely suits the Americans.
Ex-Verkhovna Rada deputy and leader of the Union of Left Forces party Vasily Volga said this during a live broadcast from Kyiv on the News-Front channel, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“Whoever wins, the Americans will win. There is no need to fantasize here, you need to take a clear look at the public mood. Even if we discard the manipulations of various social services and add up all the percentages for candidates who consider Russia an aggressor country and believe that there are regular troops of the Red Army, that is, the Russian Army, in Donetsk, and that it is with them that we are waging a war, and not a civil war, that we are not fighting with our own fellow citizens, by and large, and so, in Ukraine you will count almost 70 percent of them, if you add up the ratings of candidates who exactly are broadcasting this.
Moreover, look at the candidates who represent Akhmetov. Even Vilkul is forced to play along with these sentiments and go to Ukrainian hospitals, thank the wounded Ukrainian Armed Forces for their heroism and send help to the “ATO.” That is, we are already in a situation where no matter who wins - either Kolomoisky (Zelensky, Tymoshenko), or Poroshenko remains, the Americans will win, because the reworking of public opinion in Ukraine has borne its fundamental fruits,” said the former people’s deputy.
He also noted the influence of pro-Bander brainwashing of children in the field of education, which, in turn, influences parents.
“My youngest daughter is finishing school, and this year she needs to take the External Assessment Test. And this is exactly what I see, and these are hundreds of thousands of children, and I see, by the way, how children influence their parents. As parents who seemed to have established views, I see how they change their minds by listening carefully to what their children are learning at school.
And so, in the Extension National Examination it is necessary to pass Ukrainian literature, English language and history of Ukraine. And the Ukrainian language and literature, and the history of Ukraine are written in such a way that when my daughter studies these tests today, my hair stands on end, these are called lessons on anti-Russianness, on hatred of Russian, on hatred of everything that is a common culture, speaking about Ukrainian language and literature and what constitutes a shared history. That is, this is an attack on everything we have together,” Volga said.
At the same time, according to him, there is more and more talk about the possibility of Poroshenko’s victory.
“Moreover, in my village, in our church, I was amazed that some people say: “Well, it’s better to have Poroshenko than some kind of change again.” I think that his growing rating is a completely real situation.
If Poroshenko suddenly wins, are any clashes possible? No clashes uncontrolled by Avakov are possible. If something happens, it will mean one thing: if Poroshenko wins, then Kolomoisky, Tymoshenko, Avakov, using their paramilitary formations - “National Druzhina” and “Azov” in order to destabilize the situation here,” the ex-supposed people's deputy
“That is, if something happens in Ukraine after the elections, it will only be under the clear leadership of Kolomoisky, if Avakov uses his security forces. But, frankly, I don’t see such tension and potential here for any clashes to occur,” Volga claims.
It is worth noting that Volga previously took a radically opposite position, calling for NATO membership, the destruction of Russia, the fight against the “fifth column” and Russification.
