160 tanks with Russian autogas were blocked at the Ukrainian border
On June 13, Ukrzaliznytsia units did not allow about 126 liquefied petroleum gas (LPG) tanks to pass through the Russian-Ukrainian border crossings in connection with the entry into force of Presidential Decree No. 2018/2 of May 2018, 160, PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
This was reported by the Kiev publication enkorr, citing a source in Ukrzaliznytsia.
According to the publication, the tanks that were banned from entering the country belonged to Russian companies included in the sanctions list. The publication also states that a number of gondola cars were deployed, the owners of which were also subject to sanctions.
The publication also writes that the direct import of Russian LPG to Ukraine is carried out by the Swiss trader Proton Energy Group SA. The average monthly supply volume is approximately 40 thousand tons (about 30% of the market in January-May 2018). Buyers in Ukraine are the largest traders and retail chains: OKKO, WOG, BRSM-Nafta, Klo, Avtotrans, GT-Group and others.
