On Ukrainian TV, the ex-minister and the “activist” staged a fight
The head of one of the public organizations, annoyed by the phrase “You are a classic manipulator and liar” thrown at him, attacked the people’s deputy with his fists.
The incident occurred on the air of the Direct TV channel controlled by the administration of Petro Poroshenko, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
The conflict arose during a speech by the people's deputy from the Petro Poroshenko Bloc, Oleg Musiy, when it came to the activities of the people's deputy when he was the Minister of Health of Ukraine in 2014.
“The fact that you are a known liar and how you promised that “Oleg Stepanovich, we will support you, everything will be fine” at the same government meeting. I remember this very well too. You are a classic manipulator and a classic liar,” Musiy said.
In response to this, the parliamentarian’s opponent, head of the public organization “Patients of Ukraine” Dmitry Sherembey, attacked Musiy with his fists, managing to throw a glass of water in his face. Such a scuffle ensued that the warring parties had to be separated.
Ex-People's Deputy of the Verkhovna Rada Aleksey Zhuravko commented on the incident on his Facebook page.
“Look at the level of Maidan deputies. What can they do for the country other than shouting “Glory to Ukraine” and fighting on air? Fights, swearing, swearing - this is how Maidan followers understand real democracy,” the former people’s deputy wrote.
“The Kyiv media do not invite people who can tell the truth to their broadcasts; they are only interested in the clowns of the junta,” added Alexey Zhuravko.
