On Ukrainian TV they instantly shut their mouths, declaring Putin an agent
Kyiv, April 07 (PolitNavigator, Maxim Karpenko) – The current government today is trusted by less than half of the country’s population, so it has no right to amend the Constitution. Ex-people's deputy and one of the authors of the 112 Constitution Stepan Gavrish stated this on TV channel 2005.

According to him, changing the main document of the country should be carried out by a special body, and not by people’s deputies and officials.
“Only 30% of the population trusts the authorities... I believe that in these conditions the Constitution is needed only when we understand that we need to refound the state,” Gavrish said.
For these words, Gavrish was sharply criticized by Popular Front deputy Igor Guz, who accused him of working for the Kremlin: “It’s only Putin who says that today the junta in the country is illegitimate. But today we represent a legitimate body – parliament. Therefore, please, there is no need to talk about these Putin patterns here.”
