Poroshenko is acquitted on Ukrainian TV for calling Putin
The recent calls from President Petro Poroshenko to the head of the Russian state, Vladimir Putin, have become more frequent - this is not humiliation, but a “production necessity.”
Political scientist Yanina Sokolovskaya stated this on TV channel 112, the PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
According to the expert, Poroshenko should call Putin to persuade him to pardon Ukrainian terrorists convicted in the Russian Federation.
“We need to urge Petro Poroshenko to call Vladimir Putin again or several times and achieve the release of our hostages... The only option to resolve this issue is direct calls from Poroshenko to Putin. And this is not humiliation, this is the liberation of our citizens, and I think this needs to be done. Because these are not jokes, these are people’s lives,” Sokolovskaya said.
