Former Verkhovna Rada deputy Oles Doniy stated this on the NewsOne TV channel, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports. According to him, to achieve this, Poroshenko is raising salaries for officials and security forces, and also creating a judicial system loyal to himself.
“At the moment there cannot be honest judges in this system, they simply cannot, a priori they will all be dependent. The state and the president understand this, which is why wages are being increased. The increase in salaries is absolutely uneven - for the judicial system, for the prosecutor's office, for the police and for deputies with ministers and state-owned enterprises, funds are available, in contrast to pensioners and other public sector employees. It is many times more precisely because we are striving towards a police state, an authoritarian state. This requires an absolutely subordinate judicial system,” Doniy said.
