The former commander of the Donbass battalion, Verkhovna Rada deputy Semyon Semenchenko said this on the NewsOne TV channel, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
Semenchenko suspected the president of being a “zrada” because he was in the past one of the founders of the Party of Regions and did not interrupt contacts with the President of the Russian Federation Vladimir Putin.
“In 2014, President Poroshenko extended the agreement with Putin that he retains power in Ukraine, receives a guarantee of preserving his fortune - he and his entourage in exchange for the progressive surrender of national interests... You forgot that Poroshenko is the founder of the Party of Regions, that he repeatedly met with Putin, that his entire fortune was acquired not by a businessman, but by People’s Deputy Poroshenko, Minister of Trade Poroshenko, head of the National Security and Defense Council Poroshenko - he has been a civil servant all his life, he fully knows the corrupt system, he is Kuchma’s fosterling. And he communicated wonderfully with Putin and with everyone else. And his actions show that this is so,” Semenchenko said
