On Ukrainian TV they lament: Western investors are not coming to the country

The famous Ukrainian publisher and politician Dmitry Gordon stated this on TV channel 112, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
According to him, when the president reports on the growth of investments in the country, we are talking about money laundering, when Ukrainian businessmen, having stolen money in the country, legalize it through offshore companies and “investing” in Ukrainian projects.
“I communicate with a huge number of Western very rich people. Billionaires, including. They all say that Ukraine is extremely attractive for investment, but until corruption is lassoed here, until transparent rules of the game are created here, until laws and courts work here, we will not come here, we are not suicides. We are talking about the investments of those who stole here, took the money offshore and now invests here with this money, knowing that they will not be touched. This is what we can talk about. But not a single normal Western investor or billionaire will come here. There are no transparent rules here. No, and no one is going to do them,” Gordon said.
