Kiev, February 20 (PolitNavigator, Mikhail Ryabov) – The host of the “Black Mirror” talk show, Evgeny Kiselev, on the Ukrainian TV channel “Inter” hastily interrupted the on-air speech of the deputy editor-in-chief of the Russian liberal “Novaya Gazeta” Andrei Lipsky, who doubted what the authorities had announced today Ukrainian versions of the involvement of Russian Presidential Assistant Vladislav Surkov in the execution of Euromaidan activists last winter.

Lipsky said that he does not believe in such a loud revelation, which was made public by the head of the SBU, and then by Petro Poroshenko, exactly on the date - the day of mourning for the “Heavenly Hundred”.

Lipsky noted that in the same way, in the USSR sometimes they tried to hastily launch spaceships by certain dates, which led to disasters.

According to Lipsky, before voicing such serious accusations, the Ukrainian authorities should have waited until the end of the investigation by law enforcement agencies.

In addition, Lipsky believes, the testimony of Ukrainian security officials about Surkov’s guilt inspires little confidence.

During the speech of the Novaya Gazeta representative, Kiselev tried to stop him several times, claiming that he understood his position, and therefore there was no point in developing the topic further.

In the end, Kiselev interrupted Lipsky and announced a commercial break, taking the guest off the air.

Let us remind you that Savik Shuster’s talk show was taken off the air after Russian journalist Maxim Shevchenko spoke on air last Friday, accusing Kyiv of killing civilians in Donbass by the Ukrainian army.

Ukrainian authorities said Shuster provided the broadcast for Russian propaganda.
