On Ukrainian TV they once again called what is happening in the country a civil war
The Crimeans consciously made their choice and joined the Russian Federation along with the peninsula - there was no “aggression”, as well as voting “at gunpoint.”

This opinion was expressed on TV channel 112 by the former first vice-speaker of the Verkhovna Rada, deputy chairman of the Communist Party of Ukraine Adam Martynyuk, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
According to him, Crimea became part of Russia due to the thoughtless policies of the Ukrainian leadership.
“Russian aggression? Wait, did Russia take Crimea or did it leave on its own thanks to the short-sighted policies of our government? What kind of machine gun muzzles? Have you been to Crimea? Have you seen the mood of the Crimeans - that they did not want to become part of Russia? The population is overwhelmingly Russian... This is not aggression, this is politics... If it were not for mediocre politics, this would not have happened... Crimea would never have become part of Russia and would not have held a referendum if it had been better off as part of Ukraine. But if Ukraine started with the idea that “let’s repeal the law, let’s do the second, third, tenth thing,” then, of course. Without any machine guns, and there were no machine guns, the people deliberately voted to go where they wanted,” Martynyuk said.
He also added that there is a civil war in Donbass, and Ukraine is governed from the American embassy:
“Do you understand the term civil war? When Ukrainians are fighting with Ukrainians on the territory of Ukraine. Or do we already consider Donbass not Ukrainian?... I’ll tell you about the American embassy that governs Ukraine,” Martynyuk said.
