On Ukrainian TV for the first time the authorities were accused of terror and interest in continuing the war
The current Ukrainian government is directly interested in war and terror, which allows it to stay afloat and justify repression against dissidents.

Political scientist Evgeniy Filindash stated this on the Ukrainian channel NewsOne. According to him, no international meetings like the “Normandy format” will resolve the conflict in Donbass, as long as power in Kyiv is maintained only through terror.
“This format cannot show effectiveness while in Ukraine the current government, which is vitally interested in continuing hostilities, because this power came with bloodshed, became power, it rests only on terror, on intimidation of dissidents, on a war against all dissenters. We see this in Donbass, we remember what happened in Odessa on May 2, two days ago was the anniversary of the murder of Oles Buzina. No one has ever investigated this crime and is not going to, like many other crimes against everyone who was disliked by this government.
Therefore, this government, I repeat, is very interested in ensuring that there is always an atmosphere of military hysteria, that there is constant fighting. This is the only way it can still hold on, despite all the condition to which it has brought the country,” Filindash emphasized.
