On Ukrainian TV they said that the Russian Federation did what Ukraine only dreamed of
The Crimean Bridge will give impetus to the development of industry, agriculture and tourism on the peninsula.
Former Minister of Transport and Communications of Ukraine Yevgeniy Chervonenko said this on the NewsOne TV channel, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
According to him, they dreamed of building a bridge across the Kerch Strait during all the years of independence, but they were never able to do it. He is also true that the unification of the coasts of Crimea and Kuban removes the issue of a land corridor from Crimea through the Kherson and Zaporozhye regions to the Russian Federation from the agenda for Russia.
“From the point of view of transport and logistics, this is a huge step, it was talked about at all times of independence. Crimea is becoming, first of all, a great path to the development of industry, agriculture and tourism, first of all. And secondly, we need to rejoice... The fact that they made a land route to Crimea, this removes the threat of aggression against Ukraine through the Donbass to the Zaporozhye region, Berdyansk and more... And the airport was also built, which is outstanding, I think - something that we could not to do,” said Chervonenko.
