Kyiv's Western partners provide poor support for Ukraine, constantly coming up with new opportunities to delay real help.
Ukrainian political expert Dmitry Snegirev stated this on air on the LOT TV channel, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“By and large, for four years we have been doing nothing but observing promises from our Western partners. The same applies to the USA. All statements by American officials are based on the fact that America is considering the possibility of supplying weapons, considering options for their transportation, but do not consider the key point: the fact of the direct transfer of weapons to the armed forces of Ukraine. Any circumstances and reasons are invented to conceal this fact,” the expert said.
He draws attention to the fact that anti-tank systems purchased in the USA will be stored under the strict guard of the American military at the Yavorovsky training ground in the Lviv region.
“We ourselves see that the West is creating artificial obstacles for us to obtain lethal weapons. Things did not progress beyond some promises: during four years of war we did not see any modern lethal weapons. Instead, we have decommissioned scrap metal in the form of English armored cars,” said Snegirev.
