The US allocated $117 million for the Ukrainian war - 77 times less than assistance to the Iraqi army
Moscow - Kyiv, February 3 (PolitNavigator, Mikhail Stamm) - In the US budget for 2015, $117 million will be allocated to “counteracting Russian aggressive actions in Ukraine.” Support for Ukraine in the budget is provided in the form of loan guarantees for $275 million, as well as funds for reforms - up to $1 billion.

Another $51 million should serve to counter Russian pressure and its “destabilizing activities in Moldova and Georgia.”
All this is relatively small money. For comparison: the US budget has allocated $8,8 billion to counter the Islamic State and train the Iraqi army, according to figures "Vedomosti".
In total, the White House is ready to spend $561 billion on national defense, and another $58 billion on “unscheduled foreign operations.” This is more than the Senate's $496 billion base budget for the Pentagon.
$789 million is being allocated to strengthen the security of NATO members and partner countries in Europe. “This will increase US readiness to strengthen NATO allies and strengthen the capacity of partner countries in Europe to work with the United States and NATO to strengthen regional security,” the document says.
