New military cargo from the United States arrived in Ukraine to continue the war
The second shipment of “technical assistance” to the Ukrainian army fighting in Donbass arrived from the United States on the night of October 17-18, the Ukrainian Ministry of Defense reported.
“This is already the second shipment from American partners for the needs of the Armed Forces of Ukraine as a result of agreements reached during the recent visit of President Vladimir Zelensky to the United States. The first shipment, which included medical equipment, weapons, ammunition, precision weapons and radar surveillance equipment, arrived on October 10,” the statement said.
Another third shipment of cargo is expected to arrive in the near future, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
Overall, since the 2014 coup, Ukraine has only officially received logistical support from the United States totaling more than $2 billion.
