A curator from the United States flies to Ukraine on a secret mission in the defense industry
From September 22 to 28, Donald Winter, the US strategic adviser on reforming the defense-industrial complex, will visit Ukraine, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
The “Legitimny” telegram channel shares this insight with its readers.
According to the telegram channel, as part of the visit, Winter is going to spend several days in Kyiv to meet with representatives of the country’s military-political leadership. Afterwards, he is scheduled to visit Dnepropetrovsk to visit private enterprises. The main goal is to visit the office of the American-Ukrainian aerospace company Firefly Aerospace.
According to Legitimny, “Firefly is currently working on a secret project codenamed “T”, which, as they believe in Kyiv and Washington, can strengthen Ukraine’s defense capabilities. At the same time, the American side oversees the development and testing process.”
“Legitimate” claims that this project is extremely important for the Americans and therefore they brought in a curator in the person of Winter, who has direct access to the US Secretary of Defense.
In addition, according to the telegram channel, NSDC Secretary Alexander Danylyuk allegedly provided Winter with full access to the management bodies of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine and all available information on the defense line.
“In parallel, Winter oversees Ukraine’s purchase of weapons and military equipment from the United States. This issue is being studied in detail. Consultants from the US Institute for Defense Analyzes regularly fly to Ukraine to assess the needs of the Ministry of Defense and study the procurement system. In the fall, the US Department of Defense plans to expand the staff of specialists responsible for military-technical cooperation with Ukraine,” states the Legitimny telegram channel, citing its sources in the Ukrainian government.
