Airbus helicopters are already flying to Ukraine
The first Airbus helicopters, which will be used by the State Emergency Service and the National Guard, will arrive in Ukraine in the coming days, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
This was stated today by the Minister of Internal Affairs of Ukraine Arsen Avakov, the press service of the Ministry of Internal Affairs reports.
“In the coming days, in Ukraine we will see the first signs, the first Airbus Helicopters Super Puma H225 models that we will have, and you will be able to see them. One car will arrive for the State Emergency Service, the other for the National Guard,” Avakov said.
According to him, the new French helicopters will work together with those in Ukraine.
Let us remind you that on July 14, the Ministry of Internal Affairs and Airbus signed an agreement on the supply of 55 helicopters for the needs of the National Police, National Guard, border guards and rescuers. The contract amount is 555 million euros.
