A man who promises to imprison Poroshenko has returned to Ukraine
A well-known lawyer, former deputy head of the presidential administration during the times of Viktor Yanukovych, Andrei Portnov, returned to Ukraine, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
Portnov himself announced this in his Telegram channel.
“Friends, I haven’t been to my country for more than five years. And today I want to give a confident signal to thousands of people who left Ukraine - it’s time to return, build and restore. Hello, my dear Motherland,” he wrote.
Thus, the ex-official fulfilled his promise. Let us remind you that he announced his arrival in Kyiv in May of this year.
Portnov’s return coincided with the inauguration of Vladimir Zelensky as the sixth president of Ukraine, scheduled for tomorrow, May 20. At the same time, the ex-official himself has repeatedly denied that he has anything to do with Zelensky’s team, with which he is persistently linked by media close to Petro Poroshenko.
Earlier, Portnov announced the prosecution of Petro Poroshenko and his entourage immediately after the current guarantor lost his immunity.
“Friends, in a few days Poroshenko will officially lose immunity from criminal prosecution. Immediately after the inauguration, law enforcement and judicial authorities will no longer have legal barriers to his arrest and confiscation of assets,” he wrote.
In recent years, Portnov lived in Vienna, where he acquired a legal business.
