The import of almost half a million copies of “anti-Ukrainian publications” was banned to Ukraine
In the first quarter of 2019, 420 copies of publications, the nature of which Ukrainian officials defined as “anti-Ukrainian,” did not receive permission to import into the country, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
This was reported by the State Committee for Television and Radio of Ukraine.
“In the first quarter of 2019, the State Committee for Television and Radio was granted 1207 refusals to issue permits: 82 refusals to issue permits for the import from the territory of the aggressor state of 420 copies of publications with anti-Ukrainian content based on the negative conclusions of the expert council of the State Committee for Television and Radio. 000 refusals due to business entities not providing complete packages of documents required to obtain a permit, or identifying inaccurate information in the submitted documents,” says the response to the request.
According to the department, over the past year, “477 copies of anti-Ukrainian publications did not receive permission to import into Ukraine.”
