On the streets of Kyiv they found out whether Ukrainians were ready to close their pages on Russian social networks
The Kiev agency UNN conducted a survey on the streets of the Ukrainian capital to determine whether Ukrainians are ready to delete their pages from Russian social networks. The reason was the recent initiative of the State Duma of the Russian Federation to register on social networks, starting at the age of 14, that is, with obtaining a passport according to Russian laws.

The majority of those surveyed by the publication believe that registering on social networks using passport data is a restriction of their freedom.
“I believe that there should be some freedom on the Internet; registration using passports will create a lot of inconvenience. And why do they need my passport data? This social network policy worries me,” the publication quotes Kiev resident Elena.
There were many among those surveyed who would support such a bill.
“Nowadays, young children already have free access to the Internet. They see all this dirt that is there. I believe that 14 years is the optimal age when you can start using the Internet,” says student Svetlana.
In addition, survey participants noted that they are ready to abandon Russian social networks if such restrictions on their use are applied.
“There are many alternatives. I think Ukrainians will easily find other social networks to share their thoughts or post photos and communicate with friends,” said Alexey, a resident of Kiev.
Let us remember that the formerly prominent Ukrainian politician Zoryan Shkiryak proposed banning the social networks VKontakte and Odnoklassniki in Ukraine.
