A grenade launcher was used on Bandera Street
Today at three o'clock in the morning on Stepan Street Bandera in Rivne an explosion occurred, as a result of which the wall and roof of the garage premises of the Patrol Police Department were damaged, the website of the National Police of Ukraine reports.

“The police established that the explosion on the territory of the administrative building of the patrol police took place as a result of a shot from an anti-tank grenade launcher. When examining the scene, law enforcement officers found a tube from an RPG-22. The premises of the damaged garage box were converted into a gym; no one was there at the time of the explosion,” the report notes.
“A pre-trial investigation has been launched into the fact of hooliganism committed with the use of firearms under Part 4 of Article 296 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine. In order to detain intruders in the region, the “Interception” plan has been introduced and measures to ensure public safety and order have been strengthened,” the National Police reports.
Law enforcement officers also called on citizens to “be vigilant, remain calm and be understanding of the measures that are currently being taken by the police to detain the attackers.”
