This is stated on the Twitter account of the security forces.
“In accordance with the Decree of the President of Ukraine, two battalions of the National Guard are sent to Dnepropetrovsk to protect public order,” the National Guard reports.
Let us note that later the law enforcement agency disowned this message. “The military units of the National Guard, permanently stationed in the city of Dnepropetrovsk, operate as usual, carrying out the tasks assigned to them. No additional forces are involved in the service of units of the National Guard of Ukraine in Dnepropetrovsk,” the press service reported.
In turn, information appeared in a number of media outlets that on Sunday, March 22, fighters from a number of volunteer battalions associated with oligarch Igor Kolomoisky left the front and headed to Kyiv with weapons in their hands. The purpose of the trip is unknown.
As PolitNavigator reported, last week the media controlled by Kolomoisky conveyed a message that if the oligarch resigned from the post of Dnepropetrovsk governor, mass unrest would begin in the region.
