At the entrance to the Ukrainian capital on the Boryspil highway, huge letters “Kyiv” fell, greeting motorists entering the city.

Several Ukrainian publications report this at once.
Thus, “KP in Ukraine” writes that so far there are no comments from utility services about the incident. There is no heavy wind in the capital today. Perhaps the letters were deliberately “dropped” by vandals, the publication suggests.
And the UNN agency notes that the area where the letters stood is still fenced off; several people are on site.
