In the Ukrainian city of Torchin, as part of decommunization, the monument at the site of the mass murder of Jews during the Great Patriotic War was changed.

This was reported by the famous social activist, director of the Ukrainian Jewish Committee Eduard Dolinsky.
“The evolution of Holocaust memory. Instead of a red star, a cross and a sign were installed at the site of the murder of 200 Jews from Torchin, where there is not a word about Jews.”
