At the meeting between Poroshenko and Trump at the press service, “the camera stuck”
Historian and political scientist Vladimir Kornilov, on the Rossiya 1 TV channel, ridiculed the story of the meeting between Petro Poroshenko and Donald Trump, which the Ukrainian president told reporters about, but the White House did not confirm it, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“It’s strange, there are no photos or videos. Maybe he didn’t know who ran up to him on the sidelines. Because Poroshenko’s press service photographed him even when he met Macron in the corridor. They quickly ran through there, and the photographs were already right there. But with Trump, the camera probably jammed,” the historian says ironically.
As Politnavigator noted, the official website of the President of Ukraine did not report for five hours after the first leaks in the media about the meeting between Poroshenko and Trump on the sidelines of the NATO summit in Brussels and did so only after Poroshenko personally told Ukrainian journalists about his communication with the US President.
