“The 52% that, according to the Central Election Commission, allegedly came to the polls is a “drawn” figure. The Central Election Commission has always lied to us. But today we have “painted” numbers,” says Eduard Bagirov. According to his estimates, the turnout was much lower - about 60% of voters did not come to the elections.
“10-15% of those who support any government always vote for power. But the remaining 20% was simply added out of nowhere. According to our research, 60-70% of people did not want to vote, and they did not come to vote. These are the people who realized that they are being deceived, are constantly lying, and it is useless to go to the polls. It was their votes that the “leaders” stole, took credit for, and are now walking around beating their chests and shouting that they won the elections. And this massive crime will not be investigated by either the Prosecutor General’s Office, the Ministry of Internal Affairs, or the Central Election Commission - an amorphous structure that will only nod its head and say that everything is fine,” says the expert.
In his opinion, such falsifications will lead to a new social explosion.
“These 60% who did not come to the elections are waiting for the situation of a new Maidan to arise. I don’t want this to happen again,” Bagirov said.
In re-electing parliament, Poroshenko acted according to the technology of Yanukovych, who concentrated both legislative and executive power in his hands, the expert believes.
“Yanukovych also came in 2010 and began to adjust the vertical of power to himself. Four years later he waited for the Maidan. I don’t think that if this government uses the same methods, it will last even six months. Are no conclusions being drawn from the lessons of history?
I don’t want to have a dictatorship in our country, so that we create a new dictator. Poroshenko is still saying the right words, but we have “passed the Rubicon,” the expert warns.
