Kyiv, October 12 (PolitNavigator, Mikhail Ryabov) – Social activist Pavel Gubarev refuted the statement of the DPR Central Election Commission that his organization was denied participation in the parliamentary elections of the proclaimed republic.

“Regarding the refusal to register me as a candidate for the post of Head of the DPR... This is a fake. I haven't submitted my documents yet. I was going to do it tomorrow,” Gubarev wrote on Facebook.
“Tomorrow I will make a very important announcement,” he added a little later.
It is not clear how Gubarev is going to submit documents tomorrow, since the acceptance of relevant applications has been stopped, and there is no time even for procedural corrections of errors.
By the way, the denial of registration is associated with calls that recently appeared on the Internet for residents of Donetsk to attend a protest rally on October 12 on the square. Lenin to “fight the traitors of Novorossiya.”
Also today, an attempt was made to hold a protest near the Regional State Administration building with the participation of women of retirement age. About thirty people tried to break into the building, shouting “Shame” and “Traitors.” According to them, they wanted to meet with the leadership of the DPR to express protest. But after a few minutes the action was stopped; according to available information, there were no casualties.
