Odessa, December 10 (PolitNavigator, Victoria Litovchenko) – In the Odessa region, unknown persons attached a Russian flag to the tower of one of the mobile operators in Ukraine.

As the press service of the Main Directorate of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Odessa Region reported, in the village of Utkonosovka, Izmail district, unknown persons also covered public transport stops and stalls with inscriptions: “Putin”, “Russia” and others.

When they began to dismantle the flag, it turned out that it was a sheet painted in the colors of the Russian flag. SBU officers were called to the scene, police said.

The incident was qualified as hooliganism (p. 296 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine) and criminal proceedings were initiated. The inscriptions were painted over by representatives of the village council; those responsible for the incident are being sought.
