“I recently, several years later, decided to walk along the Tsar’s Path from Livadia to Gaspra, along which Nicholas 2 walked. So, this luxurious view track turned into a cluttered, dark sewer cut by pipes between the new buildings erected under Yanukovych, obscuring the views of the sea. Not only are they jammed together more densely than ever, but each of them also snatched a territory for themselves, usually enclosed by a solid fence. And you weave between these fences, crouching under fallen trees that no one cleans up - just like in an industrial zone. Only closer to Gaspra, having rewinded more than three kilometers, when the trail begins to climb high, there are still views there. But I walked and asked myself: for how long? Because there, too, the path is actually cut off by sections that are empty inside, but surrounded by a solid fence made of rubble stone 3 meters high,” says the journalist.
“For a non-VIP tourist who is not connected with the local nobility, the South Coast is a great way to feel like an “extra person,” sums up Yadukha.
