In Khust, Transcarpathian region, a 42-year-old man who abused alcohol drank glass cleaner and died.

The Khust police received a message from the doctor on duty at the Khust Central District Hospital that a man with alcohol poisoning had been brought to them in serious condition. In the evening, the patient died in intensive care.
As law enforcement officers found out, the 42-year-old victim abused alcohol. The man drank alcohol for about two weeks, and when the vodka ran out, he drank glass washing liquid.
The victim's death was likely due to isopropyl alcohol poisoning. The body has been sent for forensic examination.
