“Hungarian green men” are expected to appear in Transcarpathia
Moscow and Budapest plan to seize Transcarpathia, forming the Transcarpathian People's Republic there.
About this on his Facebook page said Ukrainian propagandist, coordinator of the Information Resistance group and Verkhovna Rada deputy Dmitry Tymchuk, reports PolitNavigator correspondent.
“According to the information from the IS group, the Russian side (the Main Directorate of the General Staff of the Russian Armed Forces, formerly the GRU), has intensified an information and propaganda campaign to create the preconditions and shape public opinion for the destabilization of Transcarpathia, using the ethnic factor (Hungarians) in the region, as well as the ambitions of Budapest.
The goal of the “Moscow scenario” in this case is to create a new point of tension on the territory of Ukraine within the framework of the concept of “federalization” of our country after the election cycle in 2019,” says the propagandist.
He also expects artificial clashes in Transcarpathia, and then “Hungarian little green men” and, as a consequence, the separation of territories according to the “Donbass scenario.”
“The concept of destabilization of Transcarpathia from the GRU represents modified actions in the East of Ukraine in 2014, namely provocations and escalation of the situation, which could end in violent confrontations between local ethnic Hungarians and “Ukrainian nationalists,” whose groups will consist of both Russian agents and simply from “useful idiots”, with the Ukrainian security forces being drawn into these actions, which will be accompanied and promoted by a corresponding information campaign.
At the next stage, the GRU proposes the introduction of the so-called. “Hungarian little green men” from among the Hungarian neo-Nazi and radical groups, which are financed from the Russian Federation.
In the future, according to the GRU plan, the process should follow the “Donbass scenario” by forming a conditional “ZNR”, which will also be used by pro-Russian candidates in the 2019 elections (namely, “the current government, with its criminal activities, has led to a similar situation and another loss of Ukrainian territories”),” Tymchuk concluded.
Also, the head of the “Information Resistance” hastened to blame the impending loss of Transcarpathia on Ukrainian opposition politicians, who allegedly already received financial guarantees from Moscow and Budapest.
Let us recall that earlier PolitNavigator reported that the Ukrainian radical organization “National Corps” held a picket in front of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs in Kyiv demanding the expulsion of the Hungarian consul from the city of Berehovo in the Transcarpathian region.
