Kyiv is asking the US for air defense systems to replace outdated Buk missiles

Ukrainian Defense Minister Stepan Poltorak spoke on the TV channel about what kind of lethal weapons Kyiv expects from the United States, according to the channel’s website.

“According to him, Ukraine will only ask for the weapons that it needs most – these are air defense and anti-tank weapons,” the report notes. “However, when exactly Ukraine can receive lethal weapons, Stepan Poltorak never answered, pointing out that only the United States knows this, whose president must make the appropriate decision.”
