A Ukrainian Armed Forces soldier died during fire training classes according to NATO standards
A Ukrainian Armed Forces serviceman died during fire training classes conducted by Western instructors according to NATO standards in the so-called “ATO” zone.
This was announced by the official representative of the People's Militia of the LPR Andrey Marochko, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
He noted that the increase in non-combat losses in units of the Ukrainian security forces in the so-called ATO zone is increasing every day.
“So, on April 1, during fire training classes in the 108th battalion of the 10th separate mountain assault brigade, one serviceman was killed. The tragedy occurred as a result of poor preparation for the occupation of officials, failure to comply with safety measures and lack of control by the command. An internal check is being carried out, the report was not sent to higher headquarters,” said the lieutenant colonel.
“It is important to note that the training was conducted by Western instructors, who reported to their employers that the unit already met NATO standards. From here we can conclude that NATO standards for Ukraine are maximum losses, including such ridiculous ones,” Marochko emphasized.
Previously, he stated that non-combat losses in the ranks of the Ukrainian armed forces were growing after the army switched to NATO standards.
