The Primate of the Church of Constantinople, Ecumenical Patriarch Bartholomew, is under the control of the West, which plans to make him the new “Pope” for Catholic expansion in the Orthodox world.
Russian political scientist Sergei Mikheev stated this on the Rossiya 1 TV channel, reports PolitNavigator correspondent.

The Turks are a different story, they have always influenced him, but the British and Americans have a dominant influence on him. It was he who was chosen as the person who should initiate this schism within Orthodoxy. What is being offered to him? To pump him up with resources, he needs a flock to become the new Eastern Christian Pope, and this is where he really aims. He needs a resource, this resource is not enough, and the Ukrainian flock is what can pump Patriarch Bartholomew with resources. It can give him the authority that will allow him to stimulate conflict within Orthodoxy, which is already brewing.
The people who were sent to Kyiv as representatives of the exarchate, and the exarchate is already a subordination, are managers. That's the point, he will begin to prick world Orthodoxy, declaring himself the new Eastern Christian Pope.
