The West stopped believing the official reports of the Ukrainian ATO headquarters
Kyiv, February 10 (PolitNavigator, Vladimir Raichenko) – Even European journalists sympathetic to Ukraine stopped believing the official ATO reports.
In particular, Piotr Pogorzelski, Polish Radio’s own correspondent in Ukraine, writes about this in a column for the Kyiv weekly “New Time”.

“I’m not a military expert, but I get the impression that we are being fed half-truths from the front,” the journalist notes. – Information about several hundred enemy casualties is often not supported by evidence. Presenters from Warsaw often ask me such questions: where, for example, is there confirmation that the number of killed is several times higher than the number of wounded? After all, in any conflict, as a rule, it’s the other way around. The authorities inform about documented cases of Russians using mobile crematoriums. And they ask me from Warsaw: where are these documents? What should I answer?
The author says that in his country, distrust of information about the presence of Russian troops in the Donbass has even begun to appear.
“It is easier to confirm the presence of Russian troops, although there is a certain mistrust here,” laments the correspondent of Polish Radio in Ukraine. – How to explain to Polish listeners that – as one of the weeklies wrote, referring to official documents – Donetsk airport was given to the separatists already in September. During the Minsk negotiations, but even after that, there were battles and people died. I think ordinary Ukrainians also deserve to be confronted about this situation.
There are many questions for the current government that are rarely voiced during meetings with journalists. Sometimes it seems that politicians treat Ukrainians as fools and Europeans as simpletons who are obliged to help. But someday the patience of both will end.”
