The West views Ukraine as a territory for waging war
With a high probability, after the war, Ukraine will not be given security guarantees from the West, and then a new big conflict will become a matter of time.
Kiev political scientist Yuri Romanenko, who is wanted in the Russian Federation for calls to kill Russian journalists, stated this on air on the Alpha and Omega channel, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“Whether there will be a big second war or not depends on what the borders will be and what the world will be like. Because if, as a result of the war, Ukraine joins NATO, or receives an alliance with the United States like Israel or South Korea, that is, there are direct guarantees, even without NATO, the United States alone is enough, then everything is clear. This territory is becoming predictable, understandable, long-term money will go here, and accordingly there will be development here.
And vice versa, if there are no clear security guarantees, there won’t be any, then everyone understands that the likelihood of a second big war is high. More precisely, with a high degree of probability, it will pass in the next three-five-seven-ten years, accordingly long-term money will not go here, and life will need to be arranged differently here.
And some people are not ready for this, the key problem with this. People are waiting for a magical miracle, as it happened with Kharkov, with Kherson, that the country will have a chance to break out into operational space from this trap in which we find ourselves today,”
In turn, Ukrainian psychologist Oleg Khomyak continued his interlocutor’s thought.
“But, if you take this phrase, you say: if they don’t accept us into NATO, this indicates that they consider this territory as a space in which wars can be carried out,” stated Khomyak.
