A Russian citizen who had previously escaped from a pre-trial detention center in the Lvov region was detained in Kyiv. This was reported by the ZIK TV channel with reference to the head of the regional Main Directorate of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, Dmitry Zagaria.

“Khamraev, who escaped from the Sambir temporary detention center, was detained in Kiev. The convoy has left. Thank you all for your help,” said Zagaria.

It is reported that the Russian escaped with two accomplices on October 16, having dismantled part of the facade wall in the pre-trial detention center.

According to the publication, Khamraev was a member of the Right Sector, banned in the Russian Federation, and was jailed on charges of robbery.
