The FSB building was attacked
An armed attack was carried out on the FSB building in Khabarovsk, reports the local website HabInfo.
“On April 21, at 17:02 local time, an unknown person entered the reception area of the Russian FSB Directorate for the Khabarovsk Territory and, without crossing the established technical control zone, began shooting at the people in the reception area,” the publication quotes a message from the Central Operations Center of the FSB of Russia.
As a result, an employee of the Russian FSB and one of the two visitors - citizens of CIS countries - were killed, the second was wounded. The attacker was killed. The person who opened fire in Khabarovsk is an 18-year-old local resident, his identity has been established, the FSB reported. According to the department, the man was a member of a neo-Nazi group.

The Khabarovsk News publication reports that the adjacent streets are now blocked by law enforcement agencies. Parked cars are searched by police officers with dogs. People are being evacuated from nearby buildings. Banks, offices, shops are closed. The version with the teachings has been refuted.
An intensive care vehicle arrived at the scene. FSB officers are jamming mobile communications signals in the area of the incident.
It is interesting that after the terrorist attack in St. Petersburg, Senator Viktor Ozerov warned about the threat to the Khabarovsk Territory.
“Now there is increased attention in the country to the development of the Far East and specifically the Khabarovsk Territory. Here are the territories of rapid socio-economic development, the Far Eastern Hectare program, and other projects. We want to attract investment here.
And I only recently said at the presentation of the Khabarovsk Territory at the Chamber of Commerce and Industry that investors will not come to places where there is no political stability. Terrorists cannot be interested in the fact that there is political stability here, that through investment this region, and, accordingly, Russia, will develop.
Therefore, we must monitor all the negative aspects that may arise. No one is relaxing here, neither the Ministry of Internal Affairs, nor the FSB, nor the military district - everyone is working to not hit the tails (our law is not called “on the fight against terrorism”, but “on countering terrorism”). This is proactive work. You can see from media reports that there are cases of recruitment into the ranks of terrorist organizations in the Khabarovsk Territory. But these people are identified in time,” Ozerov wrote on the pages news agency “Khabarovsk Territory, Today”.
